Essity is continuing its’ path on a new global way of working with HR related questions. We moved HR system(s) into the global tool Workday and implemented a service management system to provide stakeholder support. We are now looking for a Payroll & Employee Administration Manager for the Nordics, around HR Core of the organization Global Business Services.
Global Business Services is the service partner to the entire Essity delivering services within Human Resources, Finance, Workspace and Master Data. Our employees, spread across more than 35 countries, delivering both professional and transaction services every day to all our internal stakeholders within Essity.
For this role the right person is technically savvy, system- and process oriented with a passion for leadership and great stakeholder support. You will lead and support projects regarding systems, tools and processes as well as work in close collaboration with colleagues within HR. This is an opportunity to work in an organization and contribute to an exciting digital transformation journey in which Essity has embarked but also lead a team of payroll & employee administration specialist.
About the Role
In this role you will incorporate the global processes into local routines. Payroll & Employee Administration Manager Nordic is responsible for coordinating and delivering, in an effective and cost-efficient way, payroll and employment administration in the Nordic region. It's the Payroll & Employee Administration Manager Nordic who ensures all HR services, systems, procedures and reporting comply with relevant regulations.
For this role the right person is technically savvy, system- and process oriented with a passion for leadership and great stakeholder support. You also need to have great leadership and people management skills.

What You Will Do
Coordinate the activities of more than one team to ensure that the organization’s agreed services are processed accurately and on time and in compliance with policies and legal regulations.
Manage employee administration, payroll & time services.
Make decisions that are largely operational in nature, implementing and maintaining the systems, processes and policies for the employment administration & payroll area.
Contribute to development of new and/or improved services, tools and processes through participation in projects and initiatives.
Build effective relationships with key stakeholders (line managers, HR and employees).
Respond to Essity related enquiries from team leaders and coordinate and lead their work to ensure that the processes are delivered accurately with high level of data quality.
Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop the teams by performing the employee management process for staff.
Who You Are
We believe you:
Have proven Service Management and Process Management capabilities
Have project management skills
Have great change management ability
Have a university degree within Human Resources Management
Swedish & English speaking, both verbally and written
Have proven operational background in payroll and HR administration
Have experience of leading a Payroll and/or an HR Administration team including remote management
Have experience of Swedish pension management and collective bargain agreement
