We are a diverse and fast-growing team with our headquarters in central Malmö. As we are growing and scaling in Sweden as well as internationally, we are looking for a Payroll & Finance administrator to complete our finance department. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to establish our payroll and bookkeeping processes inhouse. This position will be located at our headquarter in Malmö, but you will have the flexibility to work remotely to a large extent if you prefer.
About the role
As a Payroll and Finance Administrator at Joint Academy you will be responsible for all internal payroll. We are currently close to 100 full time employees and additional 170+ part-time Physical Therapists employed in Sweden.
You will also be responsible for part of the bookkeeping including accounts payable, payments and monthly reconciliation of accounts. You will play a key role in the finance department and work closely with, and report directly to the Financial Controller.
Joint Academy is a fast growing, rapidly changing company which means that you will have to be adaptable for change and take responsibility for driving the payroll process forward. This also means that you will be in a position where you can have a big impact on both the role itself - but also the company's continuing growth.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Monthly payroll, making sure we are compliant with Swedish regulations
Administration of benefits, pensions and insurances
Reporting to Skatteverket and other regulatory institutions (Försäkringskassan etc.)
Employer certificates
Monthly bookkeeping and reconciliation of accounts
Other administrative tasks related to payroll/finance/HR
Making sure that we have a scalable solution for payroll in new countries and markets that we enter
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in payroll, HR or finance.
Minimum 3-4 years of experience with payroll administration and deep understanding of Swedish regulations and laws
A big plus if experienced in Visma
A big plus if experienced in leading a payroll system change
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and in English
Experience in bookkeeping is a big plus but not required
A big plus if you have been working in the context of a start/scale up company with rapid growth
It’s a plus if you have been working in an international company
The ability to prioritize and manage workload autonomously
Soft skills
