We are now looking for our next Payroll Manager to our Nordic Business Center in Gamlestaden, Gothenburg! As a Payroll Manager you are responsible for the oversight of Swedish payroll and time/attendance and will ensure effective time and payroll processing and applicable external and internal reporting. The Payroll Manager also leads a team of payroll professionals and collaborates with the HR Operations admin team in addressing and resolving employee questions, status change requests, terminations, leave management and related employee lifecycle events. Main responsibilities
As the Payroll Manager you are responsible for handling cases that requires investigations, inquiries and problem solving, managing both internal and external contacts. You will also be back up in the team for payroll and benefits processing when needed for other team members on leave or participating in learning and project activities. It is important that you are updated on labor law legislation, collective labor agreements and local agreements to be able to give correct answers to questions. Other responsibilities:
Solve cases in Service Now, related to payroll, and support employees and managers around payroll related tasks with a customer focused and professional mindset to correct payroll payments.
Responsible for contacts with 3rd parties, such as tax authorities, pension authorities, social security services etc.
Work with continuous improvements to develop routines and desk top procedures to increase efficiency and quality
Qualifications
This positions requires that you are result oriented, analytical, problem solving and also have the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines with a sense of urgency and accuracy. We also see that you have strong leadership- and team motivational skills and are able to help prioritize work and allocate resources where needed. You also have strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and confidence to effectively work with all levels of the organization. Other qualifications:
5-10 years of experience in Payroll Processing including both blue collars and white collar employees.
Certified Payroll Professional or Payroll Specialist Diploma
Expertise in applicable payroll systems including and strong knowledge in HR systems
In depth experience with HR supporting technology and capability to quickly learn new technology.
In depth knowledge of the processes within the HR services organization
Ability to interpret and apply HR policies and procedures and applicable collective labor agreements. In depth knowledge of the processes within the HR services organization
English and Swedish language skills, written and verbal

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to the HR Operations Manager, and based in Gamlestaden, Gothenburg.
