Currently we are looking for a Payroll Team Leader to our HR team in Sweden.
We offer you an interesting opportunity within Outokumpu’s HR organization with both local and global elements in position. You will be direct reporting to different sites within the organization so the position can be located in one of our sites in Sweden. In Sweden we are located in Avesta, Fagersta, Torshälla and Degerfors. We offer extension of responsibilities by supporting other countries as a development possibility.

About the role
In the role as Team Lead – Payroll Sweden you are accountable for all Payroll processes in Sweden and ensure that they comply with our Global guidelines. This also means that you transform and tailor the processes based on Swedish labour law and collective agreements. Within the team, you are fully responsible for around 2000 salaries. You take responsibility to be a role model for our ways of working. You are leader and staff responsible for 3 Payroll team members, located in both Avesta and Fagersta. You are collaborating close together with other Payroll - Team Leads in different projects. The role includes travelling a few times a year.
Accountabilities of the position:
Ensure payroll execution according to law, collective agreement, compliance and time schedules based on outsourced payroll model.
Participate, co-lead or lead projects related to payroll department or broadly related to Outokumpu.
Participate in audits and lead necessary improvement measures related to compliance (both internal and external audit). Set up internal controls and execute them with agreed frequency. Be accountable for successful and issue free audit report.
Ensure delivery of reports to stakeholders within Outokumpu.
Oversee and ensure compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements.
Maintain and control of personnel changes/adjustments.
Hold vendor management accountability ensuring consistency, reliability, integrity, timeliness and compliance of delivered services.
Administration and control of pension and benefit schemes through payroll.
Cooperation with Payroll team leads of other countries related to joint initiatives and projects.
Be a main contact person for the Payroll team, for management, auditors and statutory authorities.

Requirements for the position:
Several years of working within a varied payroll role.
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent of it) in Finance, Human Resources, Business, Economics or equivalent experience.
You are a natural leader and it is an advantage if you have previous experience in leadership or project management.
Good general IT skills and experience with Payroll, HR, Time recording systems.
Labour law, Payroll and industry specific knowledge.
Fluent in Swedish and English (Written and Spoken).
Knowledge of SAP system is an advantage.
