We are a team of driven Project leaders that take pride in our jobs. We belong to the Product Builds department, within Complete Vehicle Sweden, where we primarily build tomorrows trucks today and deliver prototypes that are ready for testing, verification & validation. We are also responsible to secure that production build trucks (P trucks) are campaigned to serial production status,
To do this, we collaborate and network within multiple teams in the Volvo Group from Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Purchasing, Prototype Workshops, Factory Operations and Quality.
We love solving problems creatively and always ensure our customers receive products that are among the best in the world.

What you will do, in a nutshell
Gather the physical build and campaign requirements of the project.
Align and plan with all stake holders for a smooth start and delivery of campaigns and prototype builds.
Plan, monitor and update budget for material and resources needed.
Trigger the ordering of material and keep a close eye on material status of parts.
Lead the activities during the build and secure test objects are delivered to test.



Your Responsibilities will also include.
Being overall responsible for securing that trucks are updated from Production build status to Serial production status.
Manage the internal product build network and deliver according to milestones in the project build process.
Report regular build & campaign status to the project.
Ensure Vehicle BOM and Specification updates are documented in needed systems.
Define routines/Instructions for the campaign work together with stakeholders (project, factories, workshops, Market department, Logistics)
Representing Product Builds in various fora across the Volvo Group
Support in continuously improving the way we work with our processes and tools.



Who are you?
You have a minimum of 10 years of prior work experience in the manufacturing industry related to engineering, production or project management. You like working with people as much as you like technology. You can communicate effectively and clearly in English. You are passionate about solving problems and have experience leading cross functional collaboration in the past. You love challenges and you possess the ability to see opportunities where others see obstacles. You are self-driven, analytical and a doer who works in a structured way. You are curious about change and would like to play a key role in the transformation towards the future of sustainable transportation.
