PC Solution Architect in STS

About this opportunity
We are looking for a Solution Architect focusing on Packet Core at Shared Telecom Services to build solutions to user requirements for 4G & 5G telco end-to-end networks. You will work in a team of Solution Architects, Integration Engineers, network engineers, and Project Managers responsible for the operations and development of the telecom solutions. The team spans the world in multiple time zones as members are in Europe (Sweden, Spain, and Ireland), Canada, and China.

The environment is used by various PDUs/MA to E2E validate network functions during software development and delivery. Multiple domains require you to have broad competence for different telco products. The role involves working with the latest technologies in 5G and Cloud.

What will you do
Groom user requirements and Create technical solutions
Drive end-to-end technical solutions
Realize architecture network design with HLDs and LLDs
Support the integration team during the implementation phase
Work hands-on with deployment, configuration, integration, and troubleshooting of 5GC and 4G-EPC
Define the evolution of the existing and new solutions.
Stay abreast of new technology/technical areas and share information about solutions to enable competence build
Identify and drive improvements.


You will bring
University degree or equivalent
Proven experience in Packet Core products covering 5G and 4G (AMF, UPF, SMF, MME, EPG, etc.)
Experience with a traffic simulator, e.g. Dallas
E2E technical understanding of telecom networks
Knowledge of Virtualization and Cloud technologies (OpenStack, Docker/Container, Kubernetes)
Experience working in Linux OS
Good IP Networking skills. Plus is knowledge of MPBN/EIN
Excellent oral and verbal communication, critical and analytical thinking, problem solving, active listening/hearing, thought leadership
Task-oriented approach, standout colleague, and capable to work in multi-functional teams
Proficient in English.
