We are looking for an experienced engineer to work with our production platform in a role that requires long-term planning and the ability to see the big picture. Work will be done for Axis production system in our team, Production Systems Test, here in Lund. Our team is an important part of Axis product development, and all Axis products are manufactured using our platform.
Who is your future team?
You will work in the Production Systems Test, a team of 14 dedicated engineers who develop and support tests within a variety of areas such as audio, radar, PCBA etc. We are mainly focused on developing software used in our test systems, but we also take responsibility for how things should be tested, and how the software works together with the hardware. The tests are used in high volume production at our factories around the world, and every year millions of products are tested in our systems.
Our team is part of a larger division of about 130 engineers working with production engineering and technology, and together with our colleagues within electronics and mechanical engineering we develop and support production systems globally.
What you will do here as a test architect
You will work in a small team of 2-3 people defining the roadmap and the architecture of the tests in our Production Platform. You will have a significant impact on the platform and on the future of the production tests used world-wide at Axis factories. You will also be responsible for scouting for modern technologies and tools that can be of relevance for our future production.
Who are you?
You are an engineer with several years of experience in PCBA development and production. You are a curious, driven team player who likes to learn new things as well as being able to solve complex technical challenges in a team-focused atmosphere. We believe that you have a strong personal drive and get inspired by working in and creating an environment of openness, creativity, trust, commitment, and encouragement. You should have a good ability to transfer knowledge to others. The ability to communicate is fundamental within the project teams and in contact with our factories worldwide.
Your main duties will be:

Responsibility for the PCBA production tests' architecture. What methods to use and how to structure the functionality in the platform.
*
Planning and roadmap
*
Supporting product development projects
*
Working with continuous improvement of team ways of working, new tools etc.
*
Third line support for the production platform
Furthermore, you have:
*
University / college degree, preferably in computer science, electronics engineering or equivalent. Other M.Sc. educations such as Engineering Physics or Nano Science are also applicable.

Good communication skills in English and Swedish, both in speech and writing
*
Experience of test development
It is a plus if you have experience of one or more of the below:

Git/Gerrit
*
Jira/Confluence
*
NI Teststand and LabView
*
Experience in PCBA test fixture design
