PDM Specialist, Information Systems

Alfa Laval is focusing on improving the time to market for new products.As a part of this goal, we are continuously developing our processes and systems to handle the product data from idea to termination called product lifecycle management (PLM).

Alfa Laval is seeking an experienced PDM Specialist who can assist Alfa Laval's product centers delivering assigned PDM goals and objectives in an organized and cost effective manner.

As a member of Alfa Laval's Corporate IT in Sweden, the PDM Specialist reports directly to the Product Systems Manager.

Responsibilities:
Work closely with Alfa product centres in Sweden and Denmark to establish an agreed-to scope, budget, schedule and manage the assigned team to deliver within the established parameters.

Create and manage project plans that can deliver expected results and ensuring that any factors which will impact scope, budget, or schedule are formally presented to the steering committee with alternatives and impacts.

Participate in, and co-ordinate the activities of team members from cross-functional departments and multiple locations, as well as third-party systems developers.

Effectively use best practices in the project management areas of integration, scope, time, cost, quality, resources, communication, and risk.

Establish a deep understanding of Alfa Laval's PDM processes and participate in the process development initiatives and the development of our PDM solutions.

Requirements:
4 years' university degree and some 5 years' working in a multinational company.Previous experience of PDM implementations in a multi-site/multinational environment.

Strong interpersonal, relationship building and leadership skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to travel about 80 days / year.
