Ericsson in Kista, Stockholm, is looking for new talents who would like to work with the development of Baseband SW!
We are part of PDU Baseband Software, and we drive 5G(NR) end-to-end baseband software product development, relying on the competence and capability of our people to take on full feature responsibility i.e. enabling the implementation and verification of full feature requirements. Based in Stockholm, we are proud to own the NR MSRBS baseband products and to be responsible for all product development planning and maintenance.

Position Summary
As a newly graduated or experienced developer, you will work in a team that has end-to-end responsibility for 5G baseband software products, including L1, L2 and scheduling. Your role will primarily focus on feature implementation and secure the functionality in an integrated system as well as taking part in pre-studies. We seek someone who has (or is willing to learn) a deep understanding of the 3GPP standard, algorithm simulation, concurrent programming technology and excellent programming and test skills. Daily work includes requirement analysis, design, software coding, integration, verification, maintenance support and product documentation.
A successful candidate will be highly motivated, autonomous and innovative. You will be part of a dynamic team working on the implementation and enhancement of the 5G baseband software, and to achieve our team's goals, you must be flexible.
You will
Take part in the implementation of 5G baseband architecture, functionality and features
Participate in pre-studies as needed
Develop automated test cases to ensure existing functionality is never degraded by new software
Work in a lab environment to troubleshoot and integrate complex new pieces of software
Deliver troubleshooting and customer support
Perform Continuous Analysis and Requirement Handling
Primarily develop but also test high-quality products
Drive continuous improvements in products and processes
Report to a Product Development Leader
To be successful in the role you must have
C/C++/Java/Python programming skills and interest- this is a must
Deep knowledge of 3GPP standard, L1&L2 - required for experienced candidates
System-level thinking
Multi-core processor programming knowledge
Understanding of real-time embedded systems
Wireless knowledge
Problem-solving
Teamwork
Lean and Agile knowledge and skills
Creating and innovating
Knowledge sharing and collaboration skills

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
MSc level in a technical discipline or the equivalent level of knowledge
Effective English verbal and written communications skills required
