Our Exciting Opportunity:
Approximately 40% of the world’s mobile traffic is carried through an Ericsson Network. The fifth-generation (5G) of Radio Access Networks (RAN) is happening now and Ericsson is the recognized technology leader in bringing it to the market. With the first commercial 5G launches, there has never been a better time for you to make your mark. We are embarking on an outstanding journey to develop a new 5G Radio Access Network solution using the latest in Cloud Native technology and principles.
As a Technical Coordinator in Platforms and Configurations you will be the technical professional responsible for understanding the configuration and deployment of Cloud RAN solutions in support of the team goals. The successful candidate will be forward looking, proactively identifying gaps and recommending solutions. You will cultivate a creative and learning culture to always improve and innovate.
You will be responsible for:
Driving e2e Reference Cloud RAN solution configuration (HW/SW) including tie in to MSRBS
Proactively identifying gaps and providing solutions to gaps found in configurations and deployment solutions
Providing input on Reference Cloud RAN solution documentation – configuration, dimensioning, deployment guidelines.
Providing technical support to Cloud RAN customer facing teams in their daily work
Being connected to the projects, programs and release through different TCs and SPMs
Link to other DNEW teams who develop network configurations.
To be successful in the role, you must have:
Bachelor’s or master’s level degree in a related field
5+ years’ experience driving/delivering e2e solutions
5+ years’ experience in Customer Unit / Customer engagement.
Deep knowledge and understanding of ERS (Ericsson’s Radio System) and practical experience of deployment and configurations
Cloud experience is an asset.
Result oriented and find it stimulating to work with organizational change teamwork/partnership across the organizations
Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills and possess a can-do attitude
