About this opportunity !
PDU Cloud is responsible for the development of cloud products such as the BSP, CCD, CEE, OMC, SDI and SDN for Ericsson Operator Cloud business, including centralized and distributed Data Center solutions. These are part of a new generation of products that will run containerized or virtualized applications on Ericsson and other environments and hardware platforms. It is encouraged that these products gradually will replace native solutions and become the main way of providing services for subscribers and enterprises. Ericsson is a global leader in this Cloud marketplace and will be part of securing successful business for this new product's area together with applications and services organizations.
We in PDU Cloud IDS are handling the activities related to Integration, Improvements, Deployment & Support of state-of-the-art Cloud solutions such as CNIS and NFVi. We are now looking to fill a position in the function area of advanced integration, deployment and support of Cloud and SDI products and solutions.
In this role, the work will be with advanced support of early and key customer deployments, early solution integration of PDU Cloud products and be involved in advanced requirement analysis and system design of future Cloud and SDI releases.
We are looking for a genuinely curious person with an outstanding interest in the cloud and its technologies enjoying working with design, integration and customers. Furthermore, have gained deep experience from work with Cloud customers and other users of Ericsson Cloud solutions in active networks.
We travel to customer sites or other Ericsson offices to support PoCs (Proof of Concept) or other Verification Activities, Deployments, Support or other design or customer-related activities.
What you will do
Drive strategic technical leadership & continuous analysis and requirement handling.
Perform Advanced Design, Deployment, Customer Support (incl. technical presentations and solution support)
Support the Solving of early incoming Product and Customer Support Requests
Perform Trouble Shooting in Design and Customer networks
Develop and Test High-Quality Products
Drive Continuous Improvements of Products and Processes
Knowledge Sharing and Collaboration
Develop competence in technical domain

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
MSc level in a technical subject area or the equivalent level of knowledge English language
Preferred Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
Highly knowledgeable in container/virtualization/cloud technologies
Proven experience working with Operator or Data Center IT solutions, improvements, design and integration
Advanced IP and networking competence & Linux and Storage Competence
VMware, Redhat or Openstack Competence & Python or similar scripting competence
