Sandvik Group is currently looking for a People Analytics Expert – a role that ensures that our HR and people analytics are efficient, relevant and value-adding.

About your job 
This is an advisory role to the Group HR functions, including CHRO and HR collaboration forums; you collect, analyze and interpret people related data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for improvements. Partnering with subject matter experts and leaders to turn insightful analytics into executable actions. In addition, you develop the dashboards and scorecards required for these functions. Working closely with your colleagues in the area via a forum structure, you provide reports, insights and value-adding analytics to support our organization in data-driven decision making. As a valuable member of our global people analytics forum, you help nurture the analytics demand management and set strategic direction, vision, and roadmap for people analytics.
You make sure that our global HCM system, Workday, is available with reports and dashboards to meet our business demands. Visualizing insights in Power BI is part of your agenda and you work in close collaboration with our IT department managing our data lakehouse serving us with multi sourced data and insights.

You report to the Head of HR Technology and act in close collaboration with our different HR collaboration forums. The location for this role is flexible in the CET time zone. Occasional travel to our business units around the world is part of your job.
About you
We’re looking for someone with extensive knowledge of analytics and data management, preferably with experience from a global matrix organization in connection with HR. You have good knowledge of Power BI, or similar data visualization tools, and understand how analytics and statistics contribute to our strategic decision making. To see patterns and trends, act proactively and be prepared for needs to come is key in this position. As we act in a global setting, you must be fluent in English, verbally and in writing.
Your confident and holistic way of working enables you to keep your deadlines and capture opportunities without losing track of your direction. With knowledge in the area, you analyze data and identify patterns and trends into meaningful insights and can communicate these to your audience. You have analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate end-user requirements into people analytics solutions. With excellent communication skills, you build networks and good relations within our global organization.
