Who are we, and what can we offer?
The People and Organizational development team consist of 7 dedicated professionals. We collaborate closely together and in a project way of working. Our aim is to support successful business performance for Volvo Trucks and our customers over time. We cover Leadership, Talent, Change Management, Engagement, Competence development and Health, Safety & Wellbeing.
You, as the People Analytic Specialist, will have a global responsibility and your network will be wide in the organization working not only with the broad People and Culture community in Volvo Trucks but also the Volvo Trucks Executive Management, Volvo Trucks Strategy, Business Control and others. You report to VP People & Organizational Development.
Main Responsibilities and Activities
As a People Analytics Specialist, you will work with data, reporting, insights and analysis and digital tools connected to People analytics. You will not only monitor but also develop the People Analytics and drive this capability in the People and Culture community. Multi-cultural experience will support you in being impactful.
Specified, this will be your focus and responsibilities:
Work close to the organization and your colleagues providing people analytics around various aspects such as diversity, talent, workforce, compensation and benefits
Be a change agent for data analytics
Eager to develop further in the area of People Analytics using digital tools (such as Power BI)
Have strong network in the organization and be a partner to count on
Responsible for the current headcount reporting and forecast process, working closely with the entire VT People and Culture community and VT Business Control.
Securing and following up of relevant KPIs and Actions
Preparing and providing workforce data and analysis to different parts of the organization (i.e. Strategy, People and Culture at the Sales Areas and at the markets etc.)
As a team member you will also contribute in driving Leadership, Talent, Change Management, Engagement, Competence development and Health, Safety & Wellbeing
Preparing and presenting insights from People Analytics to Volvo Trucks Executive Management Team and VT People and Culture Extended Management Team
Working in a structured way, monitoring that VT People data and reports are qualitative and that analytical productions are archived effectively
Active participation and contribution in Project Symphony
We think you are analytical, service minded and passionate about data. The required knowledge and experience.
Good ability in storytelling through power point
Good ability in gathering, presenting and follow up details as well as compiling a holistic picture for top management decision material.
Able to create trustful relations across cultural differences and geographical distances.
Knowledge and strong interest in Microsoft Tools e.g. Teams, Excel, Forms and Power BI
Strong numerical, analytical and statistical skills
Ability to go from theory to action
Self-motivated and self-supervised
Strong collaboration skills with a positive and inclusive attitude
Knowledge of People & Culture processes, policies and systems will be an advantage
Proficiency in the English language written as well as spoken
University degree in Human Resource, Business Administration or similar
