People & Business Leader for our Cybersecurity Team

Yes, we need someone with a tactical mindset and smart, agile ways of working, as we continue our forward-thinking journey and focus on modern cybersecurity. You’re experienced in, and love to, develop both teams and individuals, and you easily build long term relations with both internal and external stakeholders.


An IT degree is not at all necessary for this job, we’d rather hire you for your inspiring, empowering personality and your customer centric, can-do attitude. Sure, you need an interest and understanding of the cybersecurity concept, but you’ll lead a team of competent experts and you can rely on them to deliver the technical expertise that our organization needs. When it comes to background and experience, we believe you have been working with performance management and IT strategies at a larger consultant firm.


So, what about the job?
As digital disruption sweeps through the manufacturing industry, it becomes more and more vital for us to make the most of our technology. This also applies when securing our IT infrastructure, handling threats and breaches and understanding their possible impact on our operations. In this role, you’re responsible for providing a top-of-the-line product portfolio of cybersecurity solutions to the whole of Sandvik Group. You ensure the right setup and conditions to keep us two steps ahead when we build our digital defense, and that cybersecurity stays on the organizational radar as new technology evolves.


How you do it?
Through outstanding collaborations and relations, both internally and with external partners and suppliers. You’re the bridge towards the wider organization in cybersecurity matters and by talking to people you develop, explore and understand how we can meet business requirements and maximize the security of our digital footprint. You negotiate with suppliers, provide our management with relevant security information and challenge us in driving necessary change. Naturally, you also keep a close eye on trends and market development and put the spotlight on efficiency and customer satisfaction. By combining all of this, you have an excellent foundation for delivering both product and service oriented solutions and for setting our strategies and future direction.


You’ll have flexible working conditions, but for this job, your base is in Kista, Stockholm. Some travel is normally included, as your team and our partners are spread across different locations.
