At Viaplay, we entertain millions of people every day through our streaming services, radio networks, TV channels and production companies. From live sports and films to music and our own original shows, our purpose is to tell stories, touch lives and expand worlds. We’re now launching our Viaplay streaming service in a wide range of new markets and aiming to become the international streaming challenger. As a Nordic company with a global perspective and clear values, we’re looking for the best people to join us on our journey.
If this sounds like an opportunity you’re interested in, we’re now looking for a People & Culture Business Partner to strengthen the team in our office in Stockholm. We follow a hybrid model of working, allowing you to combine work from home with work at the office.
The position
Our vision in People & Culture is to enable People Success. Your mission as P&C Business Partner is to develop strategic partnerships to ensure delivery on business targets.
The Business Partnership team is responsible for integrating our people strategy with business priorities throughout the organisation. You will thrive in this position if you understand what it means to be predictive and proactive in your ways of working, rather than working to respond to issues if/when they come up.
You will work with key areas of our business, in cooperation with stakeholders and teams across our organisation and all markets. Your everyday job will vary from being part of the management team and working with overall strategy and business goals, to diving into the daily operations and details. By having knowledge about our business targets and how we create profitable growth you understand the people needs and challenges and work to implement strategies and initiatives that translates into business success.
You will report to the Head of Business Partnership and be part of an experienced team where we value openness, diversity, and collaboration in all situations.
What we are looking for
You are analytical, constructive, and pragmatic, as well as a humble team player who thrives on change. You enjoy and have experience working with senior management and are used to engaging in and driving strategic discussions and initiatives, with clear ownership of your tasks and projects. You can give examples of how you work focused on outcome over output, and you have experience in change management with a proactive hands-on approach.
Ideal candidates also meet the following requirements:
- Have worked as a Business Partner/Generalist or similar role in a fast-paced and complex environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of People Operations/Human Resources and multiple people disciplines (employee relations, performance, recruitment, compensation, training, benefits, etc.).
- Proficient in English, with great communication skills.
- Wide knowledge of labor law. (Preferably in Swedish, but Finish, Dutch, Danish, UK, Norwegian, or Spanish is also meritable)
What we offer you
We are a company that prioritises people over everything else - from every single employee to every single one of our millions of customers. What unites us all at NENT Group is our passion to create meaningful moments and evoke emotions with our content.
The essence of our values is defined by the beat we all have pulsing inside us. Defined by our people. Defined by the boundless passion we all share at Viaplay Group. Defined by how we inspire everyone around us, letting them feel that powerful, energising beat.
Bravery, Equality, Appreciation and Trust are our Viaplay Group values - and together, they form a powerful BEAT.
