To be a global champion Scania must have a presence in one of the world’s biggest commercial vehicle markets, i.e. China. A project to develop and implement full-scale assembly operations in China has been initiated.

The project organization is now in the start-up phase and we are looking for you who enjoy working in a fast-paced and international environment with changing demands where you need to adjust and set priorities. You will enjoy the journey we have ahead of us.

Your role
We are currently looking for a People & Culture Business Partner for our Industrial Operations Asia. Are you solution-oriented with an ability to create good relationships and enjoy working in an international environment? We are looking for you who want to develop yourself in the HR area and have an interest in creating a pleasant workplace that is inclusive and equal. You will work in a diverse group where we work closely together to support the business and our employees. As a People & Culture Business Partner, you work broadly with all duties in the Human Resource field, both operational and strategic as well as administratively. Your main task among others will be:


• support our employees and their families working abroad
• work closely with our managers and employees in Sweden, Brazil, and China and support them in recruitment and competence development
• coordinate learning of company culture and competence development – via training programs in Sweden, Brazil, and China
• support and give our new colleagues an effective onboarding
• provide administrative support in all HR processes
• work with continuous improvement in our HR processes

Your profile
You are passionate about HR, have a great deal of positive energy, and are motivated by helping others. You will be an important partner at all levels of the organization and it is therefore important that your communication is clear and constructive. As a person, you are solution-oriented, and see opportunities in change. You thrive in an environment with a high speed and you have a good ability to prioritize your tasks. 

You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Engineering, or equivalent. When it comes to communication you need to be fluent in English, both in speech and in writing, and comfortable presenting to peers and management.

Your location
The China project team is based in Södertalje. However, flexible work location may be applied to reflect competencies needed and deliveries in the project. Business trips abroad and to China must be considered.
