Volvo Autonomous Solutions (V.A.S) is a new entity within the Volvo Group with the mission to offer transport solutions never seen before. We accelerate the development, commercialization, and sales of autonomous transport solutions, focusing on defined segments for the on- and off-road space.


Now, we are excited to share that we are looking for a new team member to join our team for the role as People & Culture Business Partner, is that you? You will work closely with me, Anna Thorén and I’m the Head of People & Culture. Our organization is continuously growing and I’m looking forward to getting a new colleague. Together we will partner up with all parts of the organization to translate the business strategy into People & Culture agenda and bring it alive, while making sure that the business thrives.


This is how you can make an impact


In this exciting role, you will be part of several global People & Culture networks where we collaborate to bring values and relevance to the business with timely and customized solutions and to enable the business to scale up to propel the sustainability journey of the Volvo Group.


Your task is to develop trust and value-based relationship with the business through providing top notch service and strategic HR advice to leaders at all levels in Volvo Autonomous Solutions. You will act as a change agent to enable a culture of continuous improvement and growth mindset, by driving a new way of working, and establishing trust to encourage people and team engagement and cross-functional collaboration.


You will act as an ambassador of operational excellence in problem solving and get things done. Your role is to advise and coach managers on the implementation of People & Culture processes and other critical initiatives and together with the leaders support to implement processes and activities to grow the business. In addition, you champion the Volvo Group culture as well as assure alignment of management actions with Volvo Group values and principles.

You have several years of experience from developing and driving a People & Culture agenda in a global context. You embrace and demonstrate a strong ownership mentality to hold yourself and others accountable, to lead and to make things happen in a speedy and quality manner.


In addition, we hope that:
You enjoy the balance and mix between operational, tactical and strategical focus and appreciate the diversity of topics that this creates
Preferably, you have experience in coaching and facilitation roles to support transformation and change in the organization
You are an excellent communicator and have great presentation skills
You hold a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
