We care a lot about our People & Culture and that is why we call our HR Manager - People & Culture Manager.
We are looking for a committed and inspiring People & Culture Manager who is passionate about people and business and is willing to take responsibility for IKEA Haparanda.
This means that you need to have flexibility and an ability to lead in change, being secure in yourself and dare to take decisions.
You have a strong personal leadership in line with the IKEA values and you are highly successful in bringing out the best in others. You find energy and motivation in releasing others potential, allowing them to grow. Thanks to your excellent communication skills you have the ability to create strong and trustful relationships, tying a link to the co-workers in the store.
You support and develop the people strategy based on the store’s local needs. At the same time you are brave and willing to explore new paths, always daring to do something different when needed.
You have several years of previous experience from both leadership and HR, preferably from a larger organization or similar business. In addition to your experience your personality and leadership capability will be of outmost importance.
Education & experience within labor law is a demand and competence leading change processes and experience from scheduling processes rewarding.
A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US
The People & Culture Manager is an important part of the store management team, responsible for ensuring that the business and the people strategy are driven together, both in line with global guidelines and local needs. A major part of your role is to challenge and develop our HR processes in close cooperation with your team. This includes ensuring that the HR strategies are locally translated into action in the most effective and efficient way, hence actively contributing to the growth of the business through people. Together with the Business Navigation Manager you are responsible for the distribution of budget hours between the unit departments, according to the need of the business and the co-worker, enabling an effective and efficient people planning process.
Every day is different! Input comes from right and left, from the organization and the matrix. You need to be flexible with your agenda. Prestigeless and flexible. Compromise when needed. Interested in developing the new and taking actions according to that.
You have a small team reporting to you.
ABOUT THIS WORK AREA
As our People & Culture manager you are a business partner, and together with our leaders you attract, challenge, support and develop our co-workers and leaders. You proactively work with organizational development, leadership development, competence development, coaching, recruitment, work environment and change management etc. Together with the management team you are responsible for securing an up-to-date succession progress and plan by influencing the managers in developing talents and high-performing potentials.

This is a full time, permanent position with start 2022-04-01. In order to be a true business partner you also have to work some evenings and weekends.
