IKEA Bäckebol, one of our two big city stores in Gothenburg, is now looking for a new P&C Unit Generalist. About 500 employees are looking forward to welcoming a new fantastic colleague to P&C in the store, which has been open since September 2004.
We are looking for a team player, who expresses ideas and opinions effectively in verbal and written communication and interacts and engages naturally with both managers and co-workers. You have a degree in HR, with experience of having worked in the field in some form and are driven by your interest in labor law, work environment issues, rehabilitation matters and close cooperation with trade unions.
As a person, you are passionate about people with a strong belief that all individuals want and can develop. You share your knowledge, you are curious and want to learn more to develop the business and yourself. You are structured and organized - and you make things happen! You demonstrate general leadership capability and effectiveness with the capacity to handle multiple priorities and tasks. You know how to work independently, take own initiatives and responsibility.
In addition, you are used to work in a business that involves being in several issues in parallel. Integrity, honesty and trustworthiness in human relationships are words that can be used to describe you. You feel comfortable leading leaders in processes, giving feedback and developing our ways of working.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
In the role of People & Culture Generalist, you support the managers and co-workers in the unit to be able to deliver results and create an excellent customer meeting. You provide specific knowledge within People & Culture and ensure that the People & Culture strategies are implemented.
You will perform all operational personal tasks related to People & Culture at unit level to provide an excellent employee experience. You will for example work within:
• Education & development
• Recruitment & on-boarding
• Coaching
• Health & Wellbeing
• Labor law & Union collaboration
You serve as a support in the building of local business skills and performance by setting a relevant local People agenda with clear goals. In the assignment, you will also contribute to analyzing the local needs for learning and education for relevant skills to achieve business goals.
