People Partner to Fortum Recycling & Waste

Your role

This is a completely new high impact role in the heart of City Solutions people team and the team supporting Fortum’s Recycling and Waste business area. This is an opportunity for you as a people professional to impact business growth and be part of business that will ensure a greener future for all of us. You will be part of Recycling & Waste people team with main responsibilities supporting the Recycling & Waste’s Swedish business as well as City Solutions division businesses in all people matters. You will execute on the yearly people plan for your division and work closely with line management proactively supporting, coaching and developing managers in their strategic and operational people matters. You support approximately 60 managers. In addition, you will carry out Recycling & Waste and division specific processes and activities such as business planning, performance and resource management, recruitments, competence management and ensuring high quality implementation and legal compliance. You work closely with whole City Solutions People team and co-operate broadly with other People colleagues in Fortum´s People function.

About you

To succeed, we need people with varying backgrounds, people who are curious and eager to make an impact. The ideal candidate for this position is accustomed in developing and executing people processes in a versatile international environment and has previous experience in people sourcing and competence development. You have minimum three years of HR experience and it is an advantage if it is from similar industry.

You also have previous experience in leading and managing both operative and developmental people processes and have a proven track record in creating business success and positive atmosphere through supporting managers and employees in people matters. You have a modern approach to leadership and talent management. Experience of change management is also required. You have academic background, you hold a master’s degree in relevant field. We expect fluency in written and spoken English as well as Swedish, other languages are an asset.
