Job Description


We’re looking for a driven and experienced People Relations Specialist to join our team in an exciting time where you will be able to drive change and make an impact daily. 


You will work as a People Relations Specialist for the Danish Support Office, a team that supports all stores within the Danish sales market. You will work both independently and together with the rest of our Regional HR team, but also closely together with other managers and employees within the market.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Creating good teamwork with internal stakeholders, external partners and our Employer Organization.
Managing Employee Relations issues with the ability to resolve complex problems whilst ensuring a fair and consistent application of our policies.
Building a strong relationship with unions and be able to negotiate and inform accordingly.
Work to create and maintain a positive work environment, often through conflict resolution and employee engagement initiatives.
Be a part and lead different projects to secure that legal requirements are met.
Provide guidance on interpreting and applying company policies and employment laws as well as having an awareness of upcoming changes to employment legislation.
Support with training managers and employees on best practices for maintaining good working relationships along with basic knowledge in Danish employment law and the application of the company’s policies.
Ensuring the organization complies with labor laws and regulations.





Qualifications


To be successful in this role you will need to be experienced in People Relations and/or have previously worked in similar roles which involved gathering extensive knowledge of the Danish Labor market. You must be confident to make decisions that support evolving the business and you must have high integrity. We are looking for someone who, when faced with a problem, is solution-oriented and pragmatic with their approach. We are looking for a curious team player who is eager to learn, and someone who strives to build great relationships and collaborations internally and externally.
Your skills & experience
Experience with Danish employment legislation, union agreements, and union relationships.
Clear communication skills including written and verbal skills in English and Danish.
Experience in setting and implementing strategies and/or projects.
Being fair, empathetic, communicative, and committed to both the business and the well-being of the employees
Have an analytic and reflective mind-set. With strong decision Making skills
Experience within Retail is an advantage.
Be able to build strong relationships with employees and management teams.
The ability to mediate and resolve disputes fairly and efficiently.
Analytical Skills: Assessing workplace situations and drawing accurate conclusions based on data.
Knowledge of Employment Law: Understanding labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Developed skills in training and coaching employees in all People Relations Matters.
