About us:
H2 Green Steel is on a mission to disrupt the global steel industry by producing green steel, with the end goal of bringing down CO2 emissions to zero. By using green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity instead of coal; water and heat will be our primary emissions. By 2030, our ambition is to produce 5 million tonnes of green steel annually in our fully integrated, digitalized, and sustainable plant in Boden, located in northern Sweden - currently in construction phase. But this is just the beginning – our expertise in green hydrogen will enable us to decarbonize other industries in addition to steel, and we look forward to what’s next in store for us.

People Tech Lead
The People and Organization team at H2 Green Steel is now seeking a talented individual to join our growing teamas a People Tech Lead. In this role, you will spearhead the tactical and strategic planning of our People Tech agenda. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure alignment with our overarching people strategies.
By doing so, you will establish a resilient digital platform, providing the framework to define, operate, and optimize our People Processes.

Responsibilities:
Defining the Tech landscape and systems for the People function to meet the evolving needs of our dynamic organization, encompassing master data, payroll, engagement surveys, and other related systems.
Continuously assessing and improving processes within our People Tech systems in collaboration with process owners, identifying stakeholder needs, evaluating solutions, and implementing them.
Project managing tech projects of varying scope, from implementation to change initiatives, and effectively communicating updates to stakeholder groups.
Setting up and maintaining master data in our People tech system, including organizational and managerial structures, and leading efforts to enhance data quality and master data uploads.
Maintaining the People & Organization information model/data attributes and driving continuous improvement in collaboration with other functions within the company.
Ensuring efficient connections between related systems through microservices to optimize operational efficiency.
Supporting process owners in setting up requirements, initiating, overseeing, and monitoring processes to ensure seamless operations, including salary revisions, performance management, and succession planning.
Serving as a superuser for selected systems and spearheading learning and training initiatives for stakeholders.
Collaborating closely with our digital team to define integration requirements and system specifications.


Qualifications:
Extensive experience in HR processes, tools, and systems, and a academic education in a relevant field.
Proven experience driving the People Tech agenda.
Preferably, experience working in both startup environments and the production industry, along with familiarity with collective bargaining agreements.
Strong tech literacy and proficiency in working with various systems.
Demonstrated project management skills, particularly in system implementations and change management projects.
Excellent communication and change management abilities.
Skills ininfluencing stakeholders and project team members, even without direct line managerial responsibilities.
