Percy Roc looks for a skilled software architect

Percy Roc (https://www.percyroc.se/) is a spin-off from the Ångström Laboratory at Uppsala University, Sweden. The company was founded in 2018 at the intersection of AI software and embedded computing, enabling high-power microwave energy solutions. Applications are in the manufacturing of composite materials, and the extraction process in mining industries. Due to fresh funding, PR likes to expand the team.


Percy Roc is looking for an enthusiastic software developer helping to glue different parts of the solutions offered by PR. Our team wants to expand competence with an experienced software architect with a hands-on approach to coding. Earlier exposure to AI-related techniques such as Reinforcement Learning, and frameworks as Scikit-learn is a plus. Coding will mostly be done using Python, with an understanding that many of the hardware-related intricacies require other appropriate tools. It is important for the applicant to help the company in a broad perspective, and to take an active role in organisational, managerial and business-related tasks.


Required:
Experience in software development, with a focus on embedded systems.
A university degree in machine learning, automatic control, computer science or equivalent.
A relative junior, flexible profile, with a base in Sweden, Uppsala.
