Core Business Supply is assigned to source and distribute IKEA products according to the IKEA Concept Framework; and to lead the purchase development process through the categories. IKEA Supply leads balancing Sales and Supply for the value chain. We are about 22’300 people who strive towards a better everyday life for the many people. By making sure we have materials to use, suppliers to work with, distribution network for efficient transport and logistics, available products for our customers and so much more.
In Business Navigation Supply we have the assignment to navigate our business towards success through people and performance by spotting business opportunities, generated actionable insights and connect strategies with planning and execution.
We consist of:
- Portfolio Management with the assignment to actively navigate and support the creation of a balanced portfolio, ensuring movements and achievements of the Supply Strategy, contributing to Three roads forward.
- Business Development Project Office a central team of project management professionals with the assignment to strengthen and accelerate strategic business development.
In our strategic program, Supply Finance & Navigation Roadmap (SFNR), we are on a journey to implement a new performance management and planning process in IKEA Supply, delivering data-based insights, providing answers, and asking the right questions will be a focal point moving forward with increasing importance for our value add to the organization.
Preferred location is Älmhult (Sweden) or Pratteln (Switzerland) for this position
As a Performance Analytics Manager you will be part of securing excellent support in and continuous development of performance analytics. Development and availability of relevant digital tools and business solutions related to performance analytics and a balanced and relevant section of KPIs to cover all strategic directions. You will also be a fundamental part to support the stream “performance analytics”, in the SFNR context.
The sprint has the aim to define how IKEA Supply will work with
• Insights generation
• Scenario modelling
• Ad-hoc analysis
In this assignment you will:
Define analytics approach and oversee analytics operations and lead the development of a performance analytics approach for Finance & Navigation. Oversee analytics operations within Finance & Navigation to correct discrepancies and ensure high quality. Lead and contribute to the development of working methods, tools and share best practice in respect to performance analytics.
You will also lead solution design related to performance analytics together with the business and act as business partner. Contribute to fact-based decision making by being an active business partner giving insights and recommendations on analytics and scenarios. Identify business value and create operational efficiency using analytics and identify opportunities for improvement and cost efficiency across the business.
Furthermore, you will perform and support in business case calculations and
- Perform and support in investment and strategic trade-off evaluations to optimize portfolio(s)
- Perform and support in business performance management and scenario planning
- Communicate business results, insights and recommendations in a clear and inspiring way, making business analysis available and actionable
You will report to Business Navigation Manager Supply, Paolo Romano.
