PERFORMANCE ENGINEER

A Snapshot of Your Day

 As performance engineer, you are supporting the organization with performance related questions for all our products. This offers you a broad variation of questions and queries and a typical day you may support a sales project in south America before lunch and then work with service to support a customer in Thailand in the afternoon. We work as a team, support each other and share workload through visual planning twice every weak.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact
* Performance analysis and modelling
* Evaluate engines, both in the field and in the test beds
* Working with service upgrades, customer demands, service inquiries and fault reports
* Supporting sales and order execution to ensure competitiveness and customer satisfaction
* Actively contributing to R&D projects
* Monitoring engines in the field and collecting data for follow up, closing the loop towards other disciplines within R&D

 

What You Bring 
* Master of Science Education within engineering or +5 years of experience within the area of gas turbine performance
* Good knowledge within the area of thermodynamics and gas turbine theory.
* English skills both verbally and written
* As a person, you are responsible, innovative, and positive
* You are solutions oriented and driven to ensure your success and progress.
* An interest for a broad network of contacts and working with people from many different disciplines and backgrounds.

 

About the Team 

You will be a part of the MGT (Medium Gas Turbines) Performance department, and we are responsible for analysis and modelling of steady-state and transient performance of the MGT products. We are also the competence center for studies of new thermodynamic cycles.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
