The Construction Department oversees all wind farm projects from start to completion. The team takes responsibility for a wind farm once a contract has been signed and remains responsible until the final tests are completed. This includes the standard installation, commissioning, and final handover of the wind farms to our customers.
Additionally, the construction department is even responsible for more complex EPC projects. Working closely together with the customer, suppliers and other stakeholders is a key parameter to ensure to keep the project on budget and schedule as well as that our extensive safety and quality standards are met. It also works closely with the sales and legal departments to ensure each wind farm delivers the highest energy yield within the client's specification.
Responsibilities
As our new Construction Site Performance Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:
Improving Site Performance and installation method while securing a stable and predictable cost and time of installations.
Propelling installation optimizations with a cross functional perspective.
Participate and potentially direct execution steering meeting in alignment with Construction Execution Management
Benchmark with best-in-class cost and time forecasting to develop/implement processes and tools
Evaluate the implemented initiatives and track performance and develop measures to reach the goal
Participate in workshops initiated by Cost Management in Construction Sales Support; secure that all best practices are shared, and expected deviation is
Define and develop periodically trainings within Construction site personal to ensure cost and time awareness and best in class forecasting.
Qualification
You have a relevant university degree in economics, business administration or related subjects, or an engineering background combined with commercial experience. Further, we expect you to have the following qualifications:
Solid experience from a similar position in an international environment
Experienced in working with complex construction projects
Good commercial understanding and business insight
A strategic mindset, yet structured with good inquisitive skills
Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing
Competencies
Ability to operate effectively in an innovative environment
Great at stakeholder management and collaborating at all organizational levels with a positive and open mind-set
A collaborator with a knowledge-sharing approach
