Who you are
You are passionate about understanding target audiences' behaviour, historical and technical trends and people's life at home. You are feeling curiosity for identifying learnings from activities and uniting organisations behind them and you are motivated by solving complex business challenges and being at the forefront of transformational changes.
You are able to track and manage communication outcomes across multiple channels and target audiences. You have the ability to harmonise, distil and visualise data to support the ongoing improvement of business performance
Furthermore, you have good knowledge of how to leverage data science and analytics a well as communication performance measurement tools to perform analyses and gain actionable insights for business decision making.
You possess broad knowledge of global Brand Positioning and how it helps to differentiate the brand from competitors. You have a general understanding of target audience engagement activities, processes and measurements.
As well as you are able to understand the complexity of IKEA business and the role of communication as an integrated part of the business.
Further, what you need:
• Minimum of 5 years of working in Communication, Marketing, Strategic Planning or equivalent, around insights/ analytics for an international organization
• Good strategic, analytic, and tactical skills
• Strong data visualisation and presentation skills
• Experienced using quantitative and qualitative dat
• Strong project management skills
• Proven advanced training in marketing, communication, business management, data analytics or equivalent
• Preferred: experience in agency or vendor management
• Preferred: Knowledge of IKEA brand, culture, values, and ways of working
Your responsibilities
As a Performance Specialist, you are driving specific tasks and initiatives related to extracting insights, KPI setting, and performance analysis for global and local teams in order to get data-driven learnings and insights for future planning of communication initiatives. You are translating these into recommended directions to influence and contribute to Group Communication goals and objectives.
You are collaborating with global and country Communication teams to structurally track and optimize the impact communication activities have on building a strong IKEA brand and omnichannel business. You are integrating communication performance indicators in appropriate technology and data platforms to operationalise KPIs. You are executing specific global post-activity performance evaluations, sharing key findings with stakeholders to improve quality of content and media development.
Some of your main responsibilities also include:
• Contribute to the implementation of the performance framework and process in order to establish structural ways of performance-based communication and reporting alignment throughout Ingka communication, in collaboration with Performance Leader
• Provide subject matter support for global and country teams, keeping them informed on and developing where needed learning resources and activities to encourage their competence development around goal and KPI setting as well as evaluation of communication initiatives
• Together with global and country teams, evaluate unique and meaningful communication and content to facilitate best practice sharing
• Actively engage and partner with other functions within Ingka Group and other IKEA businesses in order to enable cross-functional collaboration and achieve common goals
This role is an open-ended contract and will be located in Malmö, Sweden.
