Personal Assistant to the Area Line & Operations

The successful candidate will be an integrated part of the ALOM function, and be exposed to the entire job scope of the function.To assist the ALOM with regards to all aspects of his job when required.Principal Accountabilities - Assist in preparing presentations and other supporting documents when required by ALOM/Area Management when attending meetings, conferences etc - Assist and co-ordinate the communication process between Management desks with regards to the formulation of strategies and the necessary follow up in the subsequent implementation.- Advise/recommend and comment on various strategies from time to time - Work actively with time management, planning and constant evaluating which meetings ALOM needs to attend.- Keep a record of the KPIs of the management desks reporting to the ALOM and keeping the latter briefed on the progress of the same - To prepare notes on various issues faced by the APM group and relevant to our business and keep the same updated, e.g., regulatory issues etc - Coordinate representations at relevant trade bodies, regulatory authorities and Conferences.- Help formulate strategy papers and other reports pertaining to issues related to the business performance of the Nordic and Baltic countries.- Assist ALOM desk in compiling necessary information from the various Management desks and ensure follow up on decisions undertaken and basis of such information.- Assist Management on ad-hoc assignments related to Maersk projects or subjects as required.You are alert to what happens around you and act decisively.- You are open to changes in both own job function, and tasks, and you embrace diversity - You keep yourself updated on various happenings, internal and external Keen organizing skills is a must Knowledge & Qualifications Required: Well developed analytical, presentation, organizing and communication skills.You master the MS Office package well, and have previous experience working in MS power point.You like a hectic workplace with many deadlines and a high performing organization.You are helpful and will always stand up for others.You are a joyful and humorous person that likes having fun and always greet other people with a smile.Start date: As soon as possible.Please apply by registering your application on the job portal at www.maersk.com as soon as possible but no later than February 25th.
