Personal assistant with knowledge in nepalese

We are right now looking for an additional caregiver for our team of assistants around a disabled Swedish man. The caregiver needs to be fluent in nepalese both orally and in writing.


Contents of the position
As s personal assistant you are the prolonged arm of the disabled person and give him all support he needs during everydaylife. This means help with personal hygiene, food intake, dressing and undressing and minor household duties. Since the disabled man is leading quite an active life, you need to be prepared to follow him on journeys, especially to Nepal. It would be an advantage, if you have an academic background, since the disabled man likes to monitor his experiences during his journeys and needs assistance with that.


Personal features
The work demands flexibility, patience and empathy. You should be prepared for changed plans even at a short notice and you need to like to be active and visit new destinations. For a good cooperation with the disabled man, it would be good, if you shared his interests in discussions of politics, religion, especially hinduism, culture and society at a higher level. It would be even better, if you even liked music and maybe do play an instrument by yourself. Because of the disabled man's interest in Nepal, every knowledge and experience of Nepal, will be a merit for the position.
