Ready to change the world?
Would you like to help us make the world a safer place? Join an award-winning, multidisciplinary team committed to enabling safer use of medicines. We are seeking to recruit a pharmacovigilance researcher to further strengthen our capacity for signal detection, drug safety information retrieval and scientific investigations.
Uppsala Monitoring Centre is responsible for the technical and scientific operations of the WHO Programme for International Drug Monitoring, an international initiative which focuses on enhancing patient care and safety in relation to the use of medicines, and supports public health programmes by providing reliable, balanced information for the effective assessment of the risk-benefit profile of medicinal drugs. We work with a range of exciting data sources, from VigiBase®, the WHO Programme's repository of nine million individual case reports from around the world, to electronic patient record systems, and social media. We lead and participate in international collaborative projects together with universities, health authorities, and industry.
