PhD fellowships in the laboratory for Molecular Infection Medicine Sweden (MIMS) at Umeå University MIMS is seeking outstanding candidates in the subject of Medical Science with an orientation towards Molecular Biology, and up to three fellowships are available at the Laboratory for Molecular Infection Medicine Sweden (MIMS), Umeå University, Sweden.The laboratory for Molecular Infection Medicine (MIMS, http://www.mims.se) was established in 2007 as a partner institution of the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (http://www.embl.org) together with the new Nordic nodes for molecular medicine in Finland and Norway.The aim of MIMS is to strengthen Swedish research and enhance the dynamics in the field of molecular medicine, partly by promoting the career opportunities for young scientists.MIMS is established within the Umeå Centre for Microbial Research (UCMR, http://www.ucmr.se) that includes researchers active in the fields of molecular and clinical microbiology, molecular biology, chemistry and physics and is closely connected to the university hospital.The top candidates will be invited for an interview with an international search committee.The procedure for recruitment for the position is in accordance with the Higher Education Ordinance (chapt.12, 2 ) and the decision regarding the position cannot be appealed.Documents sent electronically should be in MS Word or PDF format.
