Do you want to work as a PhD student in an expanding research area on security and safety verification and validation of automated or autonomous computer systems?
We are looking for a person who wants to work with experimental verification and validation of automated or autonomous computer systems. You are going to be an integrated part of a research environment including other PhD students and PhDs at RISE Dependable Transport Systems.
The position is in Borås but some part of the work may be carried out at RISE premises in other parts of Sweden.
About the position
The main objectives of the student work are to conduct research on verification and validation of automated or autonomous systems, e.g., systems featuring machine learning algorithms or other artificial intelligence techniques, against common requirements such as safety, cybersecurity, and privacy. In addition, the work also include research on methods, tools and concepts that are suitable for reducing the time and effort needed to verify and validate such systems.
The position is planned to start latest September 2020. The geographical location is the RISE office at Brinellgatan 4 in Borås.
Your profile
You have a M.Sc. or similar educational level in computer engineering, data science or similar with a strong study record. For this position, knowledge and skills in programming and electronics are strongly recommended. The PhD student needs to be able to work independently. The position also requires good communication and cooperation skills.
English fluency is a requirement.
