PhD student in Manufacturing Systems Engineering

Employment: Full-time; until 2013 (PhD-exam.)

Place: Luleå University of Technology, Luleå, Sweden.

Duties: 80 % research including courses; 20 % teaching or industrial studies

Start: As soon as possible

Subject: Process imaging and investigation of the melt pool flow and defect generation during laser welding, for different industrial applications; and generalised theory

Division: Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Dept.TFM, Luleå TU

Supervisors: Prof.Alexander Kaplan (LTU), Dr.John Powell (Laser Expertise Ltd., UK)
