Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences Economics in Ultuna 1 PhD student in the research education subject: Economics Valuation of agricultural production and services The focus for this position is on consumer/private and farmer preferences for agricultural production and services.Work in this area can, for example, target valuation of food quality assurance schemes, food attributes, valuation of multifunctional aspects of agricultural production, farm operator perceptions and willingness to accept various production standards etc.Qualifications: This position requires a strong interest in quantitative methods.Experience/interest in applied micro economic analysis, as well as econometric methods and economic psychology are valuable.A background with a major in economics is therefore a strong merit.Equally important is ability to communicate in English.Applicants with a major in Business administration are also welcome to apply, given that they have a more quantitative background.
