Your work assignments
Your task will be to computationally study chemical reactions on surfaces, contributing towards the identification of two-dimensional materials suitable as catalysts for carbon dioxide reduction and production of light olefins. The main methodology will be electronic structure theory, utilizing established implementations on supercomputers. The project also involves some coding in terms of pre- and post-processing of data. You will work within a team but will be responsible for your individual research projects. We regularly publish in highly ranked scientific journals, which is expected also in this project. Part of the work will be in direct contact with national and international collaborators.
