Information about the project
The division of Signal Processing and Biomedical Engineering at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Chalmers University of Technology, is recruiting a qualified candidate for a PhD position.
The project consists in investigating personalized care pathways and meaningfull data driven service co-creation / innovation in the area of stroke early triage and diagnostics, secondary and tertiary prevention, diagnostics and rehabilitation.
In this role you will join a research group that provides a stimulating, pleasant and flexible work environment for developing research and teaching, and you will also collaborate with companies, clinicians and patients.

Major responsibilities
Your major responsibilities are to pursue your own doctoral studies. You are expected to develop your own scientific concepts and communicate the results of your research verbally and in writing, both in Swedish and in English. The position generally also includes teaching on Chalmers' undergraduate level or performing other duties corresponding to 20 per cent of working hours.
Position summary
Full-time temporary employment. The position is limited to a maximum of five years.
Qualifications
To qualify as a PhD student, you must have a master's level degree corresponding to at least 240 higher education credits in a relevant field. The position requires sound verbal and written communication skills in English and Swedish. If Swedish is not your native language, you are encouraged to learn it during your employement. Chalmers offers Swedish courses.
