PhD Student position in Entrepreneurship with focus on Entrepreneurs' work situation

Luleå University of Technology is the northernmost university of technology in Scandinavia with top-class research and education. Entrepreneurship was established as a research subject January 1, 2006, and currently includes eight people. The research subject Entrepreneurship concerns development of commercial companies, especially development based on innovative products, services, process solutions or new ways of organising business activities.

You have an academic degree of at least 180 ECTS and are interested in continuing with a research education. In an initial phase the research education will end with a licentiate degree (120 ECTS).

You will participate in an academic research group with experienced researchers. The research group works with international partners. You will work with the development of knowledge on entrepreneurs' work situation. An important part of your work will be to shed light on problems such as stress and burn out. Therefore, the relationship between psychology and the entrepreneur's work is significant.

You will be given opportunities to travel internationally, participate in conferences and work with international contacts. You enjoy challenges, working towards goals, and taking own initiatives. You are curious and questioning. You find it easy to communicate in English both orally and in writing.
