PhD Student position in Entrepreneurship (1-2 positions) Ref.no.2186-10

This position makes you part of a larger group of Entpreneurship researchers at Luleå University of Technology (LTU) where the joint focus is on innovation systems and cooperative networks in rural regions.With such a focus your research will be within a new excellence center currently establishing at LTU, Centre for Inter-organizational Innovation Research (CIIR).


We look for you who have an academic degree of at least 180 ECTS, preferably in business administration or engineering, and want to move on to a research education in Entrepreneurship.This position offers 4 years of full time research education (60% research; 40% PhD courses) where you receive a PhD in Entrepreneurship upon successful completion of courses and PhD thesis defense; alternatively a Licentiate degree after two years of study.The PhD thesis will be a compilation of publishable papers intended for an international academic audience. In this position you will be given opportunities to interact with regional actors, participate in academic conferences, and travel internationally.We hope that you enjoy working independently, setting up own goals and taking own initiatives.The position requires that you are fluent in English so that you can communicate your research orally and in written form.It is good if you know Swedish, but it is not required for the position.
