PhD-student position in Wood Welding

The Division of Wood Technology at Luleå University of Technology, Skellefteå Campus, Sweden, in collaboration with Ecole Nationale Superieure de Technologie de Bois (ENSTIB), Epinal, France has a position available for a PhD student for the development of wood welding.

Our aim is to expand our successful cooperation in the wood welding area.

This is a collaboration project between Luleå University of Technology and ENSTIB, Epinal and you are expected to spend time at the both institutes.The development of wood welding will be done at ENSTIB and the the evaluations will be carried out at LTU in Skellefteå.

We seek PhD candidates with a Master degree in Wood - or Materials Science.M.Sc in Processing Engineering (or an equivalent degree) preferably with a knowledge of wood as a material is also adequate.Speaking French and Swedish languages is an advantage.You should be a good team player and have an ability to take initiative.
