Description/ Purpose: To support education for Middle school students within the Physical and Health Education program.
Duties/Responsibilities
The Assistant is responsible to:
Assist in Physical and Health Education
Contribute to implementation of the curriculum.
Contribute to safe transportation of students
Contribute to a safe learning environment for students.
Contribute to administrative duties within PHE.
Contribute to preparational duties within PHE.
Be an active and contributing member of the School’s faculty.
Participate in the full range of professional activities in the school.
Actively contribute to the operational needs of the school.
Qualifications and Experience
The teacher Assistant is expected to have:
PHE background
Experience with working with students or groups.
Experience in leadership and organisational roles.
Excellent communication skills.
The ability to establish rapport with adults and students.
The ability to work effectively in a team.
The ability to show initiative and work independently.
Experience working with students from diverse countries would be an advantage.

Temporary contract.
August 4, 2023 to December 15, 2023 (possibility of extension)
Part time, 60%
Negotiated salary.
