PHP developer | Finance system
THE OPPORTUNITY

In this opportunity you will be a part of a creative, international team with developers in both Sweden and Poland. The team is working with our in-house developed system that supports our finance department to do their daily tasks more efficiently. Since we have developed this system on our own, there is a great pride and always an openness to new ideas within the team, you will therefore in your role as a developer have an great impact and be a key factor in how the system can evolve and be even better.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop and maintain our core finance system in PHP, framework Symfony.
- Close dialogue with the finance department to understand the needs of the system.
- Automatize the manual tasks for the finance department to make their daily tasks easier.
- Update to new technologies for improvement and ensure high performance in the system.
- Implementing new features and functions in the system that are needed in the company
YOUR PROFILE
- 3 years experience in PHP programmering with Symfony or similar MVC systems.
- Experience in working closely with other business units in order to understand the needs and improve the system.
- Meritorious if you have worked with performance of devising in MySQL databases.
- Meritorious previous experience with Google cloud or Amazon cloud.
- Meritorious if you have experience with ERP, finance systems, invoicing systems or other relevant internal administrative systems.
- Fluent in English since this is our corporate language (only applications in English will be considered)
To be successful in this role you take initiative and drive your own work. You are humble and open to discuss different ideas. Since there will be collaboration with other departments that are working in the system you are also a good communicator, understand the value of these collaborations and have the ability to make IT understandable.
