Do you want to contribute your knowledge in construction engineering to our exciting industrial projects? Can you lead others towards a common goal of achieving high quality and efficiency in our projects? If so, the role of Piping and Plant Engineering with us could be the next step in your career! You will be based in Sweden but will also work on projects and collaborate with colleagues internationally. (We are looking for several people for this position.)
SHOW THE WAY FOR DEVELOPMENT IN INDUSTRIAL CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING
The industry is now in an exciting phase with high expectations from our customers, who demand smart systems and energy-efficient solutions. In this role, you will become a part of our global team of experts, working closely with project managers, colleagues, and clients. Your main task will be to lead the construction engineering discipline in our industrial clients' projects. These projects are often multidisciplinary, and you will coordinate your team's work with other discipline assignment managers, project managers, and project planners.
Your daily tasks will include:
Leading the piping and plant construction discipline, ensuring high quality in our project deliveries
Acting as the point of contact for clients in projects focused on the construction engineering/piping discipline
Mentoring and guiding junior colleagues
Participating in internal development projects, such as our technology forums where employees from various departments exchange experiences
Contributing to the development and growth of the department's market and business
Collaborating with colleagues in both construction engineering and other disciplines, thus coordinating work between the disciplines

To be suitable for this position, you also need to:
Have an education in piping design or a higher education degree with a focus on mechanical engineering or a related field
Have at least ten years of experience in piping and plant construction engineering, preferably from another consulting engineering company, where you have worked with software like AVEVA/PDMS and held a position as an assignment manager or lead
Be fluent in both Swedish and English
COME AND WORK WITH US IN CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING IN GOTHENBURG
In the department, consisting of approximately 60 employees, we work on construction engineering projects for various industrial and energy facilities. Our work usually involves full assignments, where we are involved in all phases, from feasibility study, preliminary design, detailed design, and procurement, to construction management, control, and final inspection. Our major clients operate in petrochemical/refining, energy facilities, and pulp and paper industries. Through our expertise, we support our customers in meeting today's industry standards.
OUR FUTURE-NOW STRATEGY
With our expanded expertise in sustainability, we have a special responsibility to accelerate the green transition, which is also the most significant growth opportunity in COWI's history and the core of COWI's new vision and strategy. We must be prepared to take on green projects and support our customers, which also means leaving all fossil fuel projects. Instead, COWI will allocate all resources to projects with a clear commitment to sustainability. In about three to five years, 100 percent of our revenue must come from projects that drive sustainability.
