Planner

Headquartered in Ireland, delivering throughout Europe, Winthrop Engineering & Contracting is a leading engineering company employing circa 600 people in 2021. Due to continued expansion, we are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Planner to join our team. This position will be based in Sandviken
The Planner will oversee the construction schedule and ensure the project programme is kept.
Below is a list of typical duties but is not exclusive of all duties that are required to be carried out during the project.
Reporting to: Project Manager
Responsibilities:
· Preconstruction Project Control set up including the preparation of a detailed project master plan, procurement, and construction planning.
Construction stage time management and reporting
· Responsible for development and management of project schedules and project controls tools.
· Representing the company and hosting Progress/Planning meetings/workshops.
· Establish project schedule resource requirements.
· Develop and Communicate tools for the target completion of project goals.
· Provides performance updates / reports views for identification of variances and corrective action.

Skills, qualification & experience:
· Must be an experienced user of Primavera P6 software
· 5+ years’ experience in a similar role specifically on mechanical and electrical projects.
· Data centre experience is beneficial.
· Extensive experience with Mechanical & Electrical scope of works with excellent technical knowledge.
· Experience leading projects from a project controls perspective
· IT Skills – Microsoft Office
