Johnson & Johnson Vision in Uppsala produce the ophthalmic viscoelastic device Healon. We manufacture our products from scratch. A substance is produced from raw materials and is through different steps in production processed to finished products. The whole process takes several days and monitored closely. A variety of quality assurance measures are made continuously. It is important that the product is free from particles, fibers and odor. Improvements to the product and the process are made continuously to lift the organization to a more efficient level and to position ourselves in front of our competitors. Planner-Buyer
The role as Planner-Buyer operate the E2E Supply Chain from demand handover, to material ordering, production planning, and through to production completion and shipping. They build strong collaborative teams and relationships. They optimize the flow of materials, while considering plant warehouse capacity and inventory targets, eliminating potential disruptions in the storage area, minimizing both storage costs and potential SLOB, utilizing inventory entitlement concepts.

Objectives of the Position
Driving and executing material plans, working with Supply Chain and Procurement to support business requirements.
Identifying supply risks and issues, driving mitigation actions and call out if needed.
Driving continuous harmonization and improvement of material supply processes ensuring Monitoring and securing supplier delivery performance (including delivery and quality), while managing supplier deliverables for the project (material status, forecast information, specification packages).
Prepare production plans for semi-finished products as needed and against set inventory targets. Production monitoring (outcomes, lead times, inventories). Responsibility for warning / initiating measures in case of major deviations.
Responsibility for article basic data in ERP systems
Breakdown of volume forecasts semi-finished and materials in the budget process
Analyze and follow-up production planning and inventory measurement numbers
Collaborate with Global PLAN organization, Value Stream, Production, Quality, Purchasing & Finance to ensure that production, inventory planning work collaborates
Participate in projects / assignments and activities within the framework of Supply Chain.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain and other majors considered with equivalent purchasing/planning experience (required).
5+ years of production/factory planning experience (required) and global experience (merit).
Experience working with an ERP system (required) and SAP (merit).
APICS certification (merit).
Experience working in regulated/high volume industry (medical devices or pharmaceutical strongly preferred).
Fluent in both Swedish and English (required).

You have the ability to work in a collaborative environment, possessing strong communication skills and ability to manage both internal and external partners (suppliers). Your phenomenal strong quantitative, analytical, process and troubleshooting skills will also lead the way too success.
