We are now seeking for a Planning Change Coordinator for a consultant assignment at our customer AstraZeneca in Södertälje. The assignment will start ASAP and go on for 12 months. Global External Sourcing (GES) is accountable for sourcing and supply of externally manufactured products into the AstraZeneca network. We are organized in a Process Centric Organization (PCO) with two main processes; Supply to Customer and Establish New Supply to Customer, with a high focus on cross-functional team work.
As a Planning Change Coordinator, you have the E2E supply chain understanding and skills to see the whole picture, independently identifying opportunities and issues, driving issue resolutions and putting measures in place to prevent issue reoccurrence. The Planning Change Coordinator will ensure excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. A key part of the role is stakeholder management, as the contacts include a wide range of internal / external customers and suppliers, in a variety of countries and cultures including more senior stakeholders, communication is of great importance and a key to success. An important part in the role is to build, maintain and develop relations.
The work is executed in a global high-paced environment, with strong focus on cross-functional collaboration with other roles. The nature of the role with a high number of contacts requires the ability to be flexible and constantly prioritize and make assessments on where time best is spent to operate effectively in the role.
Responsibilities
-Managing the GES Distribution budget and reporting on spend and volumes
-Responsible for accurately collating and reporting key performance indicators where applicable.
-Drive and manage process improvement with 3PLs/4PLs and freight forwarders to make distribution activities leaner and more efficient.
-Managing the implementation of distribution related changes.
-Managing the new route set up process for GES Supply chains (including Route Risk -Assessment and master data set up to enable the smooth supply of product to customer)
-Manage and participate in GES projects and work streams and provide operational shipping/distribution knowledge.
-Issue management and proactive project involvement as well as accountabilities within GES planning processes.
-Support Establish New Supply to Customer process to enable timely NPI launches and fast and smooth acquisitions and divestments and commercialization agreements.
-Accountability for driving performance, continuous process improvements and cost efficiencies.
-Build, maintain and develop customer / supplier / stakeholder relations (internal and external)
-Lead or represent GES Planning in local and/or global projects (NPIs, BDs, Transfer projects, Business improvements, Distribution)
-Manage smooth transition from project phase to BAU by developing standard framework
-Sub BPO accountabilities within the relevant GES Planning processes.
-Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for relevant GES Planning processes.
-Support and follow the AZ Business Planning processes.
-Lead and participate in Practical Problem Solving and Continuous Improvements teams.
Requirements & Preferred Background
Requirements:
-2+ years in Supply Chain Environment (Manufacturing, Planning)
-Distribution & Logistics knowledge
-Good knowledge and high-level overview of planning processes
-Excellent communication and team working skills
-The role holder should be fluent in spoken and written English
-Commercially aware
-Globally and culturally aware
-Comfortable in defining new processes and seeking to continuously improve existing processes.
-Able to rapidly adapt to a constantly changing environment
Preferred Background:
-Education requirements: A degree or equivalent in Business, Logistics, Sciences or Engineering is preferred, equivalent experience will be taken into account.
-Experience in issue management and proactive project involvement within planning.
-End-2-End Supply Chain knowledge
-Commercial experience is a plus
