You will be part of ABB Robotics Customer Service, responsible for serving the global installed base of ABB robots with spare parts, field service and system upgrades. As a Planning & Fulfillment Specialist you will be a part of a global planning team and your main mission will be to develop our value chain processes, skills and tools in our Global network.
Reporting to the Global Planning & Fulfillment Manager, you will perform detailed analyses for Value Chain key metrics (Inventory, On-time Delivery, forecast accuracy), identify key root causes for non–performance and drive performance improvements initiatives.
The position is based in Västerås.
Your responsibilities
Identifying root causes for non-performance and driving improvement initiatives
Establishing and sharing best practices for operations planning inventory management and resource management
Providing assistance to the local Operations Planners, and Material planners
Aiding the Global implementation of planning technology solutions
Compiling and sending regular report to business leaders on planning and fulfillment and inventory performance
Your background
Your personal qualities are vital for success and to thrive in this position, you need to be analytic, customer focused, result-oriented and driven.
You have a natural way of working and interacting with others throughout the value chain.
You contribute further with your ability to take complex analyses into strategic management decisions.
As a foundation, you hold a Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in Engineering or similar along with experience from working with planning or equal tasks.
This position also puts demands on your ability to extract and analyze large quantities of data, which among others requires great skills in Excel.
Knowledge of SAP or Planning systems is qualifying.
Fluency in English is a must, written and spoken alike.
