Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Planning and Logistics Developer to join our bold, excellent and passionate team in Stockholm.
Northvolt designs and produces high performance modular battery products and solutions to customers in the Industrial, Energy Storage and Automotive business segments.
In joining us you will play an important part from the very start, building a highly automated, state-of-the-art production facility for battery modules and energy storage solution.
As a Planning and Logistics Developer you would focus on supporting the process of designing, procuring and implementing the set-up of capacity, production and material planning. You will be based in Stockholm.
Generally speaking, we believe that you already have a reasonable level of experience within Logistics planning. For a few years, you have designed and developed logistical network(s), led warehouse and safety stock sizing studies, and identified bottlenecks. You also have a good understanding on how to use, or even better set up, different systems and modules (ERP/WMS/TMS) to support logistical planning and execution.
You are also adaptable: from collaborating in designing optimized production schedules and to strategic planning for every part (PFEP), you can crunch data, have strong analytical skills and lead strategic projects. As Northvolt develops, so will you and your range of responsibilities.
In your job you will:
Be responsible to design, maintain and improve our logistics network of components
Be the main contact person and create a Plan for Every Part together and in collaboration with the Procurement and Production Planning team
Give input and optimize the logistics flow and the warehousing strategy for all components
Create and optimize SOPs and work instructions
Collect, manage, organise and analyse logistical data, seeking improvement possibilities
Support system implementation (WMS, TMS,ERP)
Be an active player in the Sales, Inventory and Operational Planning (SIOP) process
Skills & Requirements
You are or you have/are:
Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain management and planning, Industrial engineer or related field
5+ years of experience as a supply chain/logistics developer or specialist with special focus on planning and/or data analysis
Excellent English skills, written and oral
Entrepreneurial mindset
Problem-solving attitude with strong organization skills (we mean it!)
Agile in your way of working
A solid relationship builder
Self-motivated and autonomous who enjoy working both in a team and on your own
Data savvy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (you love MS Excel)
Experience in work with an ERP / WMS/ TMS systems (Preferably MS Dynamics / 365 ERP environment)
Have worked in multi-cultural environment (a must!)
