THE ROLE AS PLANNING MANAGER
The Planning Manager is responsible for the production planning for the Koenigsegg production in Ängelholm. You will report to the Production VP of the company and will manage a team of approx. 15 coworkers.
The planning manager should participate in the discussion regarding the main production plan, and make sure this is visible in our ERP system and translated to all the relevant work centers and material needs. In short, it makes you a key-player in the entire production process. You will get the ability to look to the future at the same time as you live in the present, making follow-ups on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and plan accordingly.
The role covers all staffing responsibilities for the planning department such as staffing to meet the needs of capacity, recruiting and developing the planning team, setting the salary and annual reviews.
The planning manager should also drive improvements in the planning area, together with e.g. ERP department, Purchase department or Manufacturing engineering department, towards to company’s overall goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Managing the planning team so all tasks given to the team can be solved in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update the production plan and delivery plan in ERP system MONITOR
- Work with the ERP team to continuously improve MONITOR capabilities and usage in the company
- Deliver forecast for the rest of the organization in terms of lead times and resources required
- Track and improve inventory performance in cooperation with purchase and warehouse.
- Set and monitor KPIs relevant for both the department and the company
- Escalate deviations to plan to the management team/production manager
To thrive in this role, you like working in a flat hierarchy with a collaborative culture. Your ability to have initiative, work effectively across a variety of responsibilities and play a role amidst a strong team spirit will be key. On top of that, we envision that you would have:
- Equivalent experience within the same field of expertise.
- Engineering degree in industrialization, logistics or equivalent
- Good communication skills
- Good English skills, both in speech and writing
- Ability to gather and analyze data
- Experience in Microsoft Office and ERP system, preferably Monitor
- Good people management skills
