Planning Manager

Cepheid is now looking for a Planning Manager to lead a team within production planning.

Job description

Planning Manager is responsible to manage and distribute work within the planning team of five employees. Responsible for ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with the Global established guidelines and objectives. Give expertise within the group and conducted in accordance with established procedures and quality management systems in an efficient manner.

Responsibilities and duties

* Manage and distribute work within planning including holding and participating in team meetings, work meetings & briefings

* Employee engagement: Inspire employees through developing, couching, supporting and guiding them.

* Personnel related work tasks as performance reviews, salary reviews, work environment, recruitment, 1: 1 meetings, AGDA time reporting etc.

* Ensure that processes and procedures are working and communicated, such as create or update quality method, investigating and following up anomalies, investigate Capa's etc.

* Responsible for Cepheid AB's Build Plan & Absorption plan is updated and communicated internally and globally

* Responsible for that the department performs and communicates analytical reports/analysis on I.e. inventory level, capacity and production planning.

* Responsible for that the department addresses and implements measures to prevent capacity or supply shortages from Production unit Solna.

* Providing information and investigations into global functions on Excess & overage (E & O) and cost variances on manufacturing orders (TECO).

* Provide budget for the Planning department regarding resource and training needs etc.

* Responsible for the department have good control of planning around the transfer of new product or updates or minor modifications of existing ones to production.


Qualifications

We believe you have at least a Bachelor degree in Engineering, Production planning or similar. You have several years of experience from production planning in a manufacturing environment. Experience in leading and developing others is required. You are used to work with forecast from production towards customer needs. We will look favourably upon experience within SAP. You have excellent skills in Microsoft Office.

This role requires that you speak and write English and Swedish fluently.
