To be successful in this role, you have:
• Proven advanced training in Project Management
• Minimum 10 years of experience of developing businesses and delivering results, leading retail establishment projects
• Minimum 5 years of experience in leading and influencing teams and managers
• Experience from expansion planning and retail establishment process
• Experience from managing change in a complex business environment
• Multicultural experience
YOUR RESPONSIILITIES
In the role as Planning Project Team Leader, you will:
• Lead, coach and develop a team of high performing leaders that will strongly contribute to reach the objectives and goals in Group Expansion.
• Responsible to anchor and further develop ways of working within Central Planning Hub, from projects leadership perspective, to improve ways of working in projects across Central Planning Hub.
• Take responsibility to align ways of working and developments in project planning with connected stakeholders, to secure alignment between Ingka and CBF.
• Coach and support Planning Project Leaders in project planning, execution and follow up.
• Lead projects to meet defined timeline, budget and quality level.
• Lead and develop a positive & proactive performance culture aligned with clear goals in all projects & initiatives with focus on improvement in costs, quality, speed to market and continuous learning.
• Enable all team members to share best practices and learnings with and across the organisation.
• Take lead in driving an open and sharing climate, being a role model of the IKEA values where our co-workers are informed, engaged and empowered.
• Lead positive change, and contribute to building a more unique, inclusive and accessible IKEA - guided by the People and Planet Positive commitments.
OUR TEAM WITHIN IKEA
With the customer at the heart of everything we do, Group Expansion takes responsibility for strategic expansion planning enabling penetration of existing and new markets. We take the lead for business development of existing and new customer meeting points. We act on business needs and empower the markets to maximise accessibility, implement our retailing concepts and fully utilise our assets in the new world of IKEA – all at lowest cost, with economy of scale and sustained profitability.
